suddenly i got a feeling to play piano.

and i went to practice some songs on my piano at home

which is brand new

and i haven't touch it like for a long long time

went online search a few songs that i liked which are played on piano

somehow my liking turn towards female singers nowadays

female songs fill my mind now

and i think that is why she paused for the moment to stop producing more albums

cause the standard too high liao

means higher expectations

so waiting for the expectations to drop a bit before continuing

Sharing some buddies in my section

Introducing Leon Lee Xu Heng

altho it is just a short period of 9 weeks, we really clicked off well.

during field camps and all we really helped and encouraged each other alot

great guy =D

haha we talked alot about our past too haha

and i keep making fun of his name =P

one great buddy

People who has stayed with me through the entire bmt

great friendly people

i feel really fortunate to have them in my bunk

haha but i always disturb him during draw arms

will miss them

haha hopefully we will end up same unit

BMT is over for me
It has been a great learning journey
Feel that i have grown a lot and perspectives changed
suffered hardships that i never felt before
Brotherhood so strong
The camaraderie is indescribable

The last RO was a mixture of happiness and unwillingness
When we started to feel really close to the company and its people, it's time to go
I took special notice to the surroundings
The place looks especially beautiful
the sea view was perfection
the bunks were tidy and clean
even the pullup bars where we soldiers trained hard on everyday seems to be missing us, for they seems to be calling out for us to mount onto them and do even more.
The commanders seems to miss us as well.
They do not show it
they never show their expressions.
but u can feel it this time round
at this stage u finally can

The pride u feel for Raven company
is really the maximum
especially when u have contributed in it
to achieve the first in the volleyball game among the 5 companies
it was a really hard battle
if not for our hunger to train and the teamwork that is present
we would not have done it
Thanks guys
We really did well
And thanks to others who took part in other competition for the games day
u all have done Raven proud
and so
we got our reward
GAMES DAY CHAMPION
the ultimate glory for raven company
not to mention the Recruits evening champion
and best ippt results in school 3
we have set the standards skyhigh
for raven to soar to even greater heights
We are ravens

the parade rehearsal was tough
many fell out during the rehearsal
but everyone tried their best to sustain
for they know the passing out parade is what their parents will only see
and judge them on their hardships suffered and their performances during the entire BMT
and the pride they will get if the parade was well done
many fell sick
including me
fever, cough, runny nose, sunburnt, blisters, we all have it
but we carried on
something just told us not to give up
until
unless
we collapse

the final day came
we woke up at 3 am
removed everything from our cupboards
and removed the lock for good
we took a last glance at our bunk
the place where we rested, talked, laughed, rushed
and we moved down
the dark sky was filled with stars
you never get that many in Singapore mainland
they seems to be telling us that
raven has trained us
from a piece of coal
to a polished diamond
and we are ready to shine
in the next phase of army

We set off for our 24km road march
the weight on us was tremendous
Marching off in the dark
everyone was tired
each step we took was a step closer to home
outsiders may think that 24km is just a simple walking marathon
but we know
it takes huge mental strength
to move ahead with full battle order and rifle
on the 16km
many collapse
and fell out
they fell out not because they wanted
they were forced to
as you hear them pleading to their commanders
let me try another 4km
let me try...

for this moment
the emotions were overwhelming
they want their passing out day to be perfect
they really crave for it
so do we
and i respect us

and finally we completed the 24km road march
all of us either shouted or are too touched to say anything
but all of us has the common idea that ran through our head
we couldn't believe it, we actually did it, we are about to see our parents, we are about to pop.
tears of joy, war cry of victory

we got ready for the ultimate ceremony
the honor felt during the parade was so intense, we kept our heads high and our body so upright, we were model soldiers
as the parents and friends clapped and cheered at us
we felt another gush of emotions
the infantry song
force my first tear to drop
for the hardship, brotherhood is celebrated and appreciated
when my parents came down from their audience seat and place the cap onto me
the family love felt was so intense
i cannot say anything
we know it
we feel it
and now we really understands what is it.

last week in bmt.
aw man
i will miss some buddies in bunk
who have went through thick and thin together with me
will miss the days together when we leopard crawl in mud, sleep under the rain, cry in half kneel position, dig our graves together, share our rations, talk cock, banging at the bathroom door, encourage each other, blur together, laugh together, complain together, miss our families together, showing pride.
It's coming to an end.
Hope we can end up in same unit
and continue our tough days together
either in command school or in combat unit
continue to anticipate
continue to endure

cause we finished all the major activities
now the only thing left is the 24km road march
then to passing out parade where my parents will be going

but must march during the parade properly,everyone will be there sia, and i stand first row damn stress, until now i think we still quite cui

and yeah
we had recruits night yesterday night
it was

those going to bmt soon should just anticipate this night la
IT IS goddamn hot, high and music perfect, especially in the army
never so high before
never see so many chio bu before
and never even see such hot dances live before

and got nice snacks to go along
